The “Stover Plunge” is our most intense immersion trip. Recovery and recoup time will be needed when you return.
This intense immersion plunge is in honor of Mike.
- Days: Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Time: 7pm Friday until Sunday around 2pm
Arrive Friday night at 7pm. We will open with prayer and an introduction of the plunge. Do not get too comfortable because we will be moving out immediately to shelters and under bridges for ministry. Expect a late night.
Saturday is a full day. The morning may be spent with children at an inner-city school or stuffing bags full of food. The afternoon will be spent working alongside us as we serve those doing street outreach. We offer food, clothing and the Gospel to those on Franklin Ave. Noon is a quick introduction and prayer followed by the setup and serving. We wrap-up at 4pm on the street and close by cleaning and prayer.
But wait….there is more!
After the street outreach and some neighborhood cuisine we will join up with others and hit the streets, bridges, over passes and shelters for another late night.
Sundays coming…our morning will be spent in one of the local ministries and then at a local church for an urban worship service. We will wrap up around 2pm with prayer and a debriefing.
Now, go home and get some rest.
